Tom Ebert is the founder and author of the Heart for Israel blog. For more than 34 years he has served in pastoral ministries, teaching the Bible and Theology in local churches and helping Christians think carefully about Scripture and its historic context. He is also a certified Biblical Counselor with ACBC.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science degree in History and Bible and a Master of Divinity, and he is currently pursuing a PhD in Jewish History.
Through Heart for Israel, Tom seeks to provide thoughtful, biblically grounded articles and resources that help Christians better understand the history of the Jewish people, the realities of antisemitism, and the role of Israel in biblical theology and prophecy.
Tom and his wife, Laura, both have a Jewish ancestry. They have been married for 40 years, and have 8 children and 11 grandchildren.
